Gender Equality Training
We are committed to advancing female empowerment through diverse training programs for both women and girls.
Our Vocational Skills Training provides practical skills crucial for academic and economic success, while our Life Skills Workshops promote gender equality education among boys and girls in primary and secondary school.
Additionally, our Community Events, including festivals, serve as dynamic platforms to raise awareness and empower girls and women across the community.
Together, these initiatives empower women and girls to contribute their unique perspectives, talents, life experiences, and emotional connections, all of which are invaluable in driving positive change and fostering a more inclusive society.
Life Skills Workshops
Providing gender equality education to primary and secondary school students, both girls and boys, in the Arusha and Kilimanjaro region.
Vocational Skills Training
Empowering women with vocational skills for academic and economic pursuits, enabling successful and sustainable business startup or expansion.
Community Events
Engaging the community through diverse events, including festivals, to foster gender awareness and empowerment for our girls and women.
Vocational Training
Empowering women economically involves more than just providing resources; it means equipping them with the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to start, run and expand their businesses.
Recognizing this, SASA offers tailored workshops to support women at every entrepreneurial stage.
The programs cover diverse topics such as:
By providing women with the necessary tools, we aim to empower them to transform their lives and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Life Skills Workshops at Schools
The workshops conducted at primary and secondary schools serve as an important platform for engaging with boys and girls in our community.
They aim to equip both boys and girls with the skills and knowledge to challenge restrictive gender norms and stereotypes in society. To navigate through daily challenges, the workshops train problem-solving, critical thinking and communication through discussions, role-plays, and real-life case studies.
Through constructive and positive interactions, and collaborations between boys and girls, we hope to strengthen the confidence of girls and inspire boys to be their strong allies in creating a more inclusive and equitable learning environment for all.
Expanding these workshops to more schools is an important step towards supporting and empowering more girls to emerge as confident and resilient leaders in our community, with the invaluable support of boys.

Menustral and Reproductive Health
As a part of our Life Skills Workshops in schools and communities, we educate children as well as adolescents about Menstrual and Reproductive Health.
We aim to dismantle barriers and stigmas surrounding the female body, including menstruation and hygiene, to increase the confidence among girls and women and normalise their health in society.
Furthermore, these workshops emphasize safe sexual practices to prevent sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, and unwanted pregnancies as well as eliminate unsafe abortions.
The main objective is to increase awareness and empower girls and women to make informed decisions about their health, ultimately fostering healthier communities where women’s rights and well-being are prioritised.
